In a state of reflection he analyses for 10 minutes the ideas of procrastination, analysis, following processes and not getting results.
I ask him “What are you doing right now?”
He realises he is deep in his own process of analysis.
“What is the end result of this analysis?” I ask.
“I do not know. I let myself seduced by the process of analysis.”
“What result becomes possible by following this process?”
“What end result do you want to create, instead?”
“I want to feel fulfilled”, he sighs releaved.
He leaves our session feeling fulfilled that he succeeded in creating and getting this first result: to have a sentence defining what he wants.
He also has set up two specific results he wants accomplished till next time. And I give him a practice of awareness of his feeling of fulfilment, to strengthen the newly realised understanding.
